ART
Our goal is for students to become knowledgeable in the field of the arts. Students will gain an appreciation of art, allowing for individual growth, accelerated creativity and awareness of art's role in today’s society. Art criticism, history, aesthetics, and art production are stressed to develop a well-rounded individual in the arts. The visual arts strengthen our students’ self- image and overall academic performance as well as fostering an appreciation of culture and ethnic diversity. Students will grow in their understanding of the arts through reading, writing, critical thinking, and awareness of social and cultural issues in the world.
