Morris K. Udall Media Center (Library) services approximately 750 students, kindergarten through eighth grade. Students receive services once per week. Students receive instruction in The Dewey Decimal System and how to access the library to find the book of their choice. Our school also has a web catalog to assist in this endeavor. Researching skills are reinforced by instructional use of encyclopedias, almanacs, atlases, books, Internet, and various other media. Students also receive instruction in author studies, various genres, multicultural studies and other studies. We also assist in reinforcing classroom studies whenever possible.

Morris K. Udall is proud to now have a teacher resource area for our teachers and staff to offer the best in education. Teachers are able to find everything from manipulatives to class literature sets. The staff will also find the latest in professional periodicals.

Lastly, the media center offers the Library Club, for fifth through eighth grade, an after-school program. The club reinforces library skills through a series of games and activities. The students also help maintain the library in good order.

Morris K. Udall is lucky enough to offer all these services in a large well-lit sunny room.
