Programs

ADE requires that all Arizona public funded preschools provide children with progress monitoring. The assessment used at Isaac Preschool is the Creative Curriculum Developmental Continuum. Student developmental behavior is observed and recorded to provide the student achievement data that is used for interventions and extensions of the instructional programs.

We are in the third year of piloting the Growing Literacy Curriculum for the Frank Porter Graham Early Childhood Institute at the University of North Carolina. The staff has received high quality professional development from the UNC staff for their participation in the pilot program.

Bret Tarver/Isaac Preschool implements an inclusive classroom model providing integrated therapy and services to preschool children with various special education needs within the general education classroom with typical peers.
