Principal's Message

At the Bret Tarver Education Complex we believe that each student, adult and child, is a unique individual. We provide an appropriate program that focuses on the process of active learning. Recognizing the connection among developmental domains (cognitive/language, social, emotional, and physical), the instructional program includes best practices that focus on the growth of the “whole person.”

The educational program is based upon the premise that the parent/guardian is the child’s first and most important teacher. We strive to maintain a solid partnership by providing a comprehensive family support program of adult education, parenting education, childcare for infants/toddlers, interactive literacy activities for parent and child together, early childhood/kindergarten education, special education, social activities, and a variety of volunteer opportunities. Family involvement is strongly encouraged.
