| After School
Programs
Each school in the Isaac School District will have
an after school program. The first hour will focus on academics
and will include a core curriculum to address academic standards
in the areas of reading, writing, math, language arts and science.
Each academic class will have a pre/post test designed to measure
student achievement. All academic programs will be scientifically
research based in accordance with the guidelines of No Child Left
Behind and, where applicable, will use curriculum and methods outlined
in the School Improvement Plan. The second hour of the program will
focus on enrichment. Enrichment course offerings will vary from
site to site but all enrichment courses will address academic standards
in the areas of physical education, art, music, or technology. For
more information about after school programss at your child’s
school, please contact the school office. |
