History

Moya Elementary School is named in honor of Mr. Herman Moya, former teacher, principal of Alta E. Butler School and Isaac District Superintendent, and Mr. Pat Moya, former teacher and principal of Mitchell Elementary School. Throughout their distinguished careers in the Isaac School District, both Moya brothers were known as innovative and dedicated servants of the Isaac School District community. The staff of Moya Elementary School is proud to honor their service to the district by insuring that our school lives up to the reputation and dedication of the Moya family.
