History Mitchell School was built in 1975, with additional buildings being added over the years to accommodate our thriving community. It was named for the Mitchell brothers, Harley and Norman, who served our district well for many years. Our school is a landmark in the neighborhood, and with it’s stadium style lights and snack bar, allows us many opportunities to host evening activities, such as the Mitchell Baseball League and the Arizona Cardinals Flag Football League.
