Principal's Message

On behalf of the staff, I take great pleasure in welcoming you to Lela Alston Elementary School. We are very proud of our students and our programs. The goal of Alston School is excellence, and striving to reach this goal is a joint effort on the part of the students, teachers, administrators, parents, and community. Our school provides all students, staff, and community with a safe, supportive environment, which promotes high academic achievement, and empowers students to become responsible and productive citizens.

Our dedicated, enthusiastic staff is committed to providing the best education possible for the students at Alston School. We pride ourselves on the high quality instruction and educational services provided to our students. Each child is seen as an individual with specific strengths and needs. We urge parents to become actively involved in Alston School in many ways, including academic studies as well as extra curricular activities and PTO.
