Counseling service is available for all students experiencing any type of problem or issue. These include, but are not limited to, academic performance, social skills, anger management, parental divorce and grief, along with self-esteem. If a child is experiencing difficulty with friends, there are mediation services available to help with friendship and communication. If the issues are too extensive for the school counselor to deal with, referral services to outside agencies are also available. The school counselor also provides classroom presentations and lessons on prevention skills, and dealing with peer pressure.
